Nassar Stone is honored to have supplied natural stone for the Palestinian Museum, an architectural landmark that stands atop the hills of Birzeit overlooking the Mediterranean coast. Designed by Heneghan Peng Architects, the 3,000 m² building is a modern expression of Palestinian identity, blending seamlessly into the surrounding sanasil—the traditional stone terraces of the local landscape.

For this iconic cultural institution, Nassar Stone provided Gold Veil limestone and Omani marble, chosen for their warmth, durability, and ability to harmonize with the museum’s architectural vision. The subtle tones of these stones reflect the natural beauty of Palestine while reinforcing the building’s connection to the land and its heritage. The Palestinian Museum has also received several prestigious recognitions, most notably the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture, celebrating its architectural excellence and contribution to community, cultural, and landscape design. By integrating contemporary architecture with traditional materials, the museum stands as a symbol of cultural continuity, resilience, and innovation—qualities that Nassar Stone is proud to help embody.
